EDMONSON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Edmonson County High School offers an outstanding curriculum in basic education and has vocational training in welding, auto mechanics, computer training, commerce, Vo-Ag, and family and consumer Science. Also offers a complete athletics department and a past state basketball championship.

Edmonson County Middle School (grades 7 and 8) offers, in addition to an excellent curriculum, a vocational course in Practical Arts.

Students in the Edmonson County system rank academically in the top one-third of the state.

Three of five schools in the Edmonson County School System have received KIRIS rewards for meeting accountability assessment goals. The school district also was the only district in the southern section of Kentucky to receive a district level award. All schools in the school system are networked to each other and to the Internet.
